Balsam Hill has spent about 20 years making artificial Christmas trees that are hard to tell from real ones. Their designers visit real forests and take cuttings to copy each kind of tree, from Nordmann fir to Vermont white spruce, and the needles are moulded one by one in two shades of green. Many of the trees come with the lights already on, and the branches fold out so the tree goes up quickly. Their wreaths and garlands are made the same way, and every tree comes with a three-year warranty. Shop the AT HESTIA edit of Balsam Hill.
