Why we love it
These hand-painted papier-mâché horses draw from a Swedish folk tradition that's been bringing good fortune for centuries. Each one is individually sculpted and kiln-fired, so the trio you receive will be entirely unique. Hang them from the tree or group them on a shelf where their detailed paintwork can be properly admired throughout the season.
Description
A trio of Swedish Dala horses, the folk-art symbol of good luck. Each is hand-sculpted from papier-mâché with buckwheat husks, kiln-fired and painted by hand in Europe, so no two are alike. Comes boxed. Hand-sculpted from papier-mâché with buckwheat husks, these three Swedish Dala horses are kiln-fired and painted by hand in Europe, so no two are alike. The folk-art shape, long a symbol of good luck, suits a Scandinavian-style tree or a kitchen dresser. They come boxed, which makes them a lovely present, and pair well with red ribbon, straw stars and plain white candles.
