Why we love it
The deep green leather and warm wood with bamboo detailing give this desk real character without demanding attention. At 123 centimetres wide, it's substantial enough for proper work but sits comfortably in a bedroom or living room as well as a study, with three drawers keeping papers and supplies close at hand.
Description
The Kalidasa Desk, named in honour of one of ancient India’s greatest poets and playwrights, brings a sense of literary heritage and artistry into the home. Upholstered in our putting green leather, the piece showcases a rich tone. This deep green is beautifully balanced by warm wood framing with bamboo-inspired detailing, which traces the edges of the top, drawers and legs to create subtle texture. Though undeniably unique in character, the desk remains remarkably versatile – its three drawers and thoughtfully balanced proportions make it equally suited to a study, living room or bedroom.
