Why we love it
The ikat weaving gives these stripes a beautifully soft, blurred quality, as though seen through moving glass, and the viscose, cotton and linen blend means it has real substance rather than feeling like a decorative afterthought. Throw it over a bedroom chair or layer it on your sofa alongside a throw, where the weight and texture will anchor the space without demanding attention.
Description
A stripe with real depth to it. The yarn is dyed before weaving, the traditional ikat method, which gives the blue and green their soft blurred edges, like film reels or a train passing the window. Woven from a viscose, cotton and linen blend, so it has the weight to sink into rather than the stiffness of a decorative extra, and finished with an Oxford edge border that helps it sit well on a range of pads. Designed and handmade in the UK. 55cm square, cover only.
