Why we love it
The deep corduroy seat and gently arched back make this a proper sanctuary for reading or watching the fire, whilst the solid oak feet and beech frame are built to last with a lifetime guarantee. You can add your own cushions to adjust the comfort and look, and it sits beautifully beside a window or fireplace, wherever you need a proper place to settle in.
Description
Whether pulled up beside a warm fireplace or next to a window with a view, the Dolittle armchair offers a cosy spot for quiet moments. Its gently arched back elegantly frames the deep and comfortable seat to which you can add your own choice of cushions to suit your space. At NiX, quality and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. Our made-to-order upholstery is proudly crafted in the UK by our partner that has been handmaking fine furniture for over 60 years. The Dolittle armchair's Sustainably certified beech hardwood frame and solid oak feet are carefully joined and secured with a Lifetime Guarantee for complete peace of mind. This piece is made all the more soft and luxurious with the upholstery done in our Classic Corduroy. The plush and textured fabric adds another layer of depth and richness to your interiors. Our Classic Corduroys are woven in Italy and available in a handful of colours that have been carefully selected to work beautifully alongside our NiX Checks and Stripes to create beautiful combinations. Seat cushions are carefully filled with a 50:50 mix of Spanish Barbary duck feathers – a by-product of the meat industry – and Quallofil Blue, a recycled fibre. The result is a cushion that you can sink into yet keeps its shape, eliminating the need for frequent plumping. Fabric covers are expertly stitched and every component is individually upholstered to be well-used and well-loved for years to come.Trade pricing is available on request, please contact us.
