Why we love it
The gingham pattern and ruffled skirt give this bench a nostalgic charm, but what really sets it apart is the attention to detail underneath. The entire body is upholstered in matching fabric rather than left bare, so the decorative skirt truly earns its place. Position it at the foot of your bed or under a window for both storage and a comfortable spot to sit whilst getting dressed.
Description
Playful in pattern yet refined in form, our Celeste Storage Bench pairs warm Brick Gingham fabric with a softly tailored, ruffled skirted silhouette. The generously cushioned seat is neatly finished with piped edging, while a full gathered ruffled skirt falls around the base to create soft movement and volume. The woven check combines warm brick red against an ivory backdrop, bringing cosiness and a subtle sense of nostalgia to the bedroom. Thoughtfully constructed throughout, the bench body beneath the skirt is also fully upholstered in matching gingham rather than left exposed. This means the ruffled skirt acts as a true decorative layer, adding softness without compromising the finish underneath. The hinged seat lifts to reveal handy concealed storage, ideal for spare bedding, throws, cushions or everyday bedroom essentials. At 120 cm wide, the Celeste bench works beautifully at the foot of a bed, beneath a window or against a bedroom wall, offering practical storage and comfortable occasional seating without feeling oversized.
