Why we love it
These hand-painted papier-mâché baubles are made by artisans in India using newspaper, then decorated with botanical patterns inspired by folk paintings. At just 3cm across, they're ideal for threading through garland, clustering on a mantelpiece, or hanging from lower branches where they catch the light without overwhelming smaller trees. Each comes with a block-printed cotton bag made from TOAST's fabric offcuts, so no two sets are quite the same.

Set of six mini papier-mâché baubles handmade using newspaper by artisans in the Himalayan valleys of northern India, supported by cooperative Sasha, which TOAST has worked with for over ten years. Featuring loose botanical patterns inspired by floral folk paintings. Hand-painted by artisans in Jaipur and finished with a small tassel on the end of the hanging loop. Accompanied by a block-printed or striped cotton bag made from fabric left over from previous TOAST collections, making each unique.
