Why we love it
Wooden stripes make up this advent calendar, with golden numbers on every other stripe and a little star-topped tree to use as the counter. The tree is tied on with a velvet ribbon, so it never goes missing in storage from one year to the next. Give it a spot on a mantel or hall console beside a pair of candlesticks and a jug of winter greenery.
