Brand

Sabre

Sabre began with a single knife. In 1993 Habitat asked the designer Francis Gelb to make one, and that first model, called "Sabre", gave the house its name. Since then the Paris brand has made cutlery and tableware in colour: bright handles in raspberry, vermilion and blood orange, softer milky tones, and printed patterns such as gingham, toile de Jouy, stripes and polka dots. The blades are made in France, and almost all the pieces are put together by hand in a workshop near Paris. It's cutlery made to bring colour and a sense of fun to the table.
