Why we love it
The paper paste construction gives this lamp base a wonderfully tactile, slightly imperfect surface that feels organic rather than mass-produced, whilst the hand-painted blue botanicals on white add a gentle, considered detail. It's made to order by hand with solid brass hardware, so each one carries its own character. Position it on a bedside table or occasional table in a living room where its warm, textured presence will feel like a considered choice rather than an afterthought.
Description
A tapered table lamp base crafted in paper paste, a sustainable material with a tactile surface that is perfectly imperfect. Each one is hand-painted with blue botanical motifs on white, glazed and finished with solid brass hardware, for an organic, textured piece that adds warmth to a room. It suits an occasional table in a living room or hallway, or a bedside. Brass B22 bayonet bulb holder, 200 cm chocolate braided flex with a black inline switch and a black UK plug. It takes an LED bulb (4W recommended, max 40W). The lampshade is chosen separately. The bulb holder can be swapped for an E27 screw fitting on request. Made to order by hand.
